Saskatchewan Historical Newspapers Online (SHNO)

The Saskatchewan Historical Newspapers Online (SHNO) is a project developed in  partnership between the Saskatchewan Archives and Saskatchewan History Online . . . The first stage of the project focused upon Saskatchewan newspapers published during the  Great War period, from January 1914 through to the end of hostilities in 1918. The project is currently working to digitize Saskatchewan newspapers published from 1939 through the end of WW II. When completed, the SHNO project will have digitized, described, and made available over 100 years of newspapers published from over 100 separate communities across the province. This  will amount to approximately 11 million pages of newsprint.
