MISSION
The Spare Room Gallery was established:
- To create a publicly accessible visual arts space for the region’s artists and arts enthusiasts;
- To showcase the rich diversity of artistic practice within the area’s cultural communities;
- To inspire our youth and to promote public appreciation for the visual arts.
ABOUT THE GALLERY
The Spare Room Gallery is located at 113 Broad Street, Cut Knife, SK. It shares the building with the Cut Knife Municipal Library and the Museum Admin. & Archives Centre.
The Gallery space is street-facing with windows that let in the natural light. It is 11 ft. x 14 ft. for slightly more than 150 square feet of floor space and has a 10 ft. ceiling. It is fitted with gallery-quality track lighting and a versatile hanging system. Security will also be installed.
